Job Title: Process Improvement Specialist

The Process Improvement Specialist plays a pivotal role in promoting performance and process improvement at Loma Linda University Medical Center. This position involves coordinating, leading, and consulting on continuous improvement projects, documenting and tracking results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and leads continuous improvement projects to enhance process outcomes.
  • Maintains advanced knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, and PDCA techniques to facilitate lasting change.
  • Provides education, training, and coaching on performance and process improvement to support department goals.
  • Monitors the outcomes of training programs and assists with special projects and committees.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required, along with a minimum one year of direct experience in Performance Improvement, including Six Sigma and PDCA projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of statistics and their use, advanced planning and organizational skills, critical thinking, and ability to set and reset priorities are preferred.

Licensures and Certifications:

Six Sigma certification is required within one year of employment.

Salary: Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
