Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Runner to join our team at Kona Grill. As a Food Runner, you will play a critical role in delivering an unforgettable dining experience by helping to deliver food and beverages to guests with efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service by delivering food and beverages in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare and set up the expediter station for service.
  • Communicate with servers to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Assist other service staff with tasks such as setting up the restaurant, cleaning, bussing tables, running food, taking food orders, making cocktails, serving guests, and opening and serving wine.
Requirements
  • Previous work experience in a high-volume or fast-casual dining restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to speak and write in English.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. for long periods and walk, twist, crouch, and/or maneuver while carrying 10 lbs. or more for periods of extended time.
