Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at McLaren USA. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammograms and breast imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialize in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast tumors.
  • Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns to ensure a comfortable and confident experience.
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Position patients and adjust controls to set exposure factors based on radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
  • Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats.
  • Perform routine maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment.
  • Assist other areas of radiology as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
  • Certification in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Certification in mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
