About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team at HonorHealth. As a key member of our laboratory services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of histology services.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation of histology samples for diagnostic testing, including microtomy, embedding, and staining.
  • Assist with immunohistochemistry (IHC) activities and retrieve slides and/or blocks as requested by pathologists.
  • Perform and document instrument and equipment maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper operation.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and safe laboratory operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Eligibility for ASCP HT or HLT certification preferred.
