International Tax Senior

Role Summary

Our International Tax team is in search of a Senior Associate with expertise in compliance.

The International Tax Senior Associate will engage in a variety of international tax issues, including compliance and reporting initiatives. Responsibilities will include assessing taxpayer eligibility for international tax elections and exceptions, conducting quantitative modeling, and performing foreign tax credit analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address complex international tax challenges.
  • Manage client relationships and assist partners in executing services and developing additional offerings.
  • Oversee the tax preparation efforts of staff and offshore teams.
  • Deliver expert tax compliance services, including the preparation of U.S. international tax forms such as 5471, 8992, 8865, 8858, 1042, 8802, K-2, K-3, and 8833.
  • Calculate earnings and profits, foreign exchange gains and losses, GILTI, expense allocation, effectively connected income, Subpart F, and recapture provisions.
  • Manage project budgets efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Active CPA license or eligibility to pursue CPA certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in International Tax compliance within a public accounting firm or a multinational corporate tax department is preferred.
  • Strong technical tax and accounting skills, along with analytical, communication, project management, and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional research and technical writing capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement is advantageous.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic planning and possess robust project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
