Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Associate for our International Tax team, who will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid model from various locations. The International Tax Senior Associate will engage in a variety of specialized services that address complex international tax issues, including compliance and reporting projects, eligibility assessments for international tax elections, quantitative modeling, and foreign tax credit analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve intricate international tax challenges.
  • Manage client relationships and support partners in executing services and developing additional offerings.
  • Oversee the tax preparation activities of our staff and offshore teams.
  • Deliver expert tax compliance services, including the preparation of U.S. international tax forms such as 5471, 8992, 8865, 8858, 1042, 8802, K-2, K-3, and 8833.
  • Calculate earnings and profits, foreign exchange gains and losses, GILTI, expense apportionment, and various tax implications.
  • Effectively manage project budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Active CPA license or eligibility to pursue CPA certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in International Tax compliance, preferably within a public accounting firm or a multinational corporate tax department.
  • Strong technical tax knowledge and accounting expertise, along with excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional research and technical writing capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to participate in strategic planning and demonstrate strong project management skills.
