Senior Intraoperative Monitoring Specialist

The Senior Intraoperative Monitoring Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care during neurosurgical and spine surgery procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor various modalities of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, including motor cranial nerve recording, spontaneous or evoked electromyography (EMG), spinal screw and direct nerve stimulation, and more.
- Locate sensorimotor cortex during neuro-surgery or invasive radiological intervention.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months of IOM experience required.
- Certification for Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM licensure) is necessary.
- BLS certification is also required.
