Job Title: Rework Operator

Job Summary:

Wells Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Rework Operator to join our team. As a Rework Operator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to filtering ice cream and dairy dessert mixes. This includes sorting rework tubs, filtering mixes, running CIPs, COP equipment, and daily cleaning activities. You will also be responsible for documenting what was filtered, coordinating with the mix room and freezer in storing and thawing rework, and operating the Kason filtering system.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize incoming rework mixes coming from production
• Verify allergens from the rework mixes, isolate them when filtering
• Document all rework mixes filtered, keep records of what was sent to the freezer
• Coordinate with mix and freezer personnel in moving totes to and from the freezer
• Complete appropriate CIP/cleaning procedures
• Manage daily and weekly cleaning list activities
• Assist Process Operators in setup/batching of mixes

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• HMI understanding for CIPs and the filtering process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
