Job Title: Youth Advocate

Join our team as a Youth Advocate and make a positive impact on the lives of youth and families in El Paso County, Adams, and Denver areas. As a Youth Advocate, you will be responsible for providing direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families, using a strength-based approach and the wrap-around model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
  • Develop and implement service plans based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.
  • Provide Court-Ordered Supervised Visitation services, observing and ensuring the safety of the child(ren) present, and providing a therapeutic approach to improve the parent/child relationship.
  • Model and educate caregivers on areas to address for treatment plan goals.
  • Debrief with caregivers after visitation, discussing progress, successes, concerns, and planning for future visits.
Requirements:
  • A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience working with youth and families, preferably in the Human Services field.
  • Must be available after school hours and weekends, with flexible scheduling.
  • Position requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
