About the Role

The Executive Director of Memory Care Services is a key leadership position responsible for the overall management and operation of our memory care community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations, ensuring that required documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff to meet resident and community needs, ensuring that staff complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Resident Care and Services: Direct resident care, interact with resident families, and ensure that emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs are met through all program services and activities.
  • Marketing and Admissions: Assist the marketing team in securing referrals and admissions, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents.
  • Supply Management: Order and inventory supplies, managing labor costs, supplies, and other line items in the department budget.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve resident and family complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Leadership and Management Experience: One year of management experience in Assisted Living, with a strong background in memory care preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Must be Texas Certified Assisted Living Manager.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
