- Perform dust mopping and wet mopping of hard floor surfaces using disinfectant solutions as per departmental protocols. 2. Execute cleaning and disinfection tasks according to assigned areas and guidelines. 3. Engage with patients and their surroundings while carrying out duties. 4. Dispose of waste in accordance with established Waste Handling and Removal procedures. 5. Contribute to departmental goals aimed at enhancing quality through feedback and awareness of current performance metrics. 6. Strip and reapply wax finishes on hard floor surfaces following departmental maintenance procedures. 7. Buff hard floor surfaces to preserve their appearance. 8. Vacuum carpets using standard or industrial vacuum cleaners. 9. Buff carpets as per scheduled maintenance and upon request. 10. Extract carpets and furniture as needed based on predetermined schedules. 11. Identify and utilize appropriate cleaning supplies effectively. 12. Utilize applications for patient room discharge cleaning to ensure timely reporting for patient flow management. 13. Report any required equipment repairs and clean tools after use. 14. Arrange meeting rooms as per scheduling requests. 15. Carry out duties associated with Environmental Services Technician responsibilities. 16. Move furniture as needed.
