Job Overview

Akoya Behavioral Health, a clinician-owned and operated in-home ABA program, is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Our focus is on providing personalized care to children with autism, utilizing the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 care in the homes of families we serve.
  • Implement individualized strength-based treatment plans.
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and support client development in areas including communication, leisure and independent play, social skills, and daily living skills.
  • Manage problematic/interfering behaviors through effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to the clinical team regarding client progress.
  • Maintain assent and ensure a positive and respectful environment at all times.
  • Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers, fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Remain open and curious to learn new skills and methodologies.
Requirements
  • High school degree or higher.
  • Preferably a portion of or complete bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or early education.
  • RBT certification in good standing preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Passion for working with children.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check.
Compensation

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
