Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Custodian to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform janitorial and cleaning activities within established guidelines and schedules
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs to supervisor in a timely manner
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, and common areas
  • Remove and dispose of trash and recyclables
  • Interact with facility personnel, supervisors, and the public in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Previous school custodial or janitorial experience is a plus
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to perform routine and repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
