We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Manager to join our team at American Consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, billing, coding, accounts receivable, and collections.

About the Role

This is a project-based role that requires approximately 75% onsite presence in Arizona. You will work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding, and drive the development and training of the revenue cycle team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.

$160,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits. You will need to have strong knowledge of revenue cycle processes, healthcare billing regulations, and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, billing, coding, accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Identifying and implementing strategies to optimize revenue cycle processes, reduce denials, and improve reimbursement.
  • Conducting analysis of revenue cycle performance metrics and providing regular reports to executive leadership.
  • Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding.
  • Overseeing compliance with federal and state regulations and ensuring billing practices align with healthcare laws and standards.
  • Driving the development and training of the revenue cycle team, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may impact the revenue cycle or financial outcomes.
