Look no further, as TCS Mobility is in search of a full-time para-transit driver to ensure safe and reliable transportation for our passengers.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Position Type: Full-time, operating 24/7.
  • Pay: $14.52 per hour with benefits or $19.00 per hour without benefits.

Requirements for Consideration:

  • Availability to work during scheduled operational hours.
  • A minimum of 3 years of driving experience; prior professional driving and transport experience is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Drivers must be able to sit for extended periods during shifts, which typically last 8 hours but may vary based on operational needs.
  • Weight/Lifting: Occasionally, drivers will need to lift and/or assist with at least 20lbs and may need to push or pull up to 150lbs. Tasks may include assisting passengers, including those using wheelchairs or walkers, in boarding and disembarking vehicles.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • A clean driving record and successful background check.
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug test, DOT physical examination, and a criminal background check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers.
  • Operating motorized lifts (training will be provided).
  • Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle environment.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Communicating effectively with both staff and passengers.
  • Exhibiting professionalism and respect towards clients of all backgrounds.
  • Understanding and adhering to driving laws, ordinances, and regulations.

Training:

  • Training hours will vary based on scheduled shifts.
  • Onsite training, uniform shirts, a vehicle, and radio communication will be provided.
