Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at AZ Camelback Business LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and execute work orders or instructions from supervisors.
  • Cut grass and trim weeds on company property.
  • Dig flower beds and plant flowers.
  • Construct decorative flower garden borders from wood.
  • Clean internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
  • Wash windows.
  • Empty trash cans and consolidate trash for weekly pickup.
  • Paint interior and exterior walls and trim.
  • Repair parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete.
  • Operate snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
  • Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
  • Repair or replace building brick, stone, and concrete.
  • Maintain and repair wood parts of buildings.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts in machines and equipment.
  • Assist other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.

Requirements:

  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have competent skills using a variety of tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to work in a team environment and take direction.
  • Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift.
  • Able to maintain balance, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Occasionally or frequently will be required to stand, walk, sit, utilize hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, talk or hear, operate equipment, read technical information, use a keyboard, lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds, have exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, work in high places, work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, have exposure to outside weather conditions, have exposure to extreme heat or cold, and have exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious material.

This position requires working Saturday and Sunday along with 2-3 weekdays.
