**Job Title:** Data Analyst - Institutional Advancement

About the Role:

Dartmouth College is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join its Institutional Advancement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to support fundraising and alumni relations initiatives across the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and monitor prospects, volunteers, and board members to support institutional priorities and fundraising goals.
  • Use standard wealth assessment formulas and internal data to evaluate gift capacity, rate prospects, and prepare concise written reports, prospect profiles, briefings, summaries, rankings, assessments, and other documents.
  • Research, compile, and analyze financial information, including stock holdings, salaries, and other forms of compensation.
  • Develop expertise in specific industries and regions and prepare summaries, reports, presentations, and biographical sketches for use in meetings and events by divisional and institutional leadership and constituencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three plus years' experience in development or similar industry.
  • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office, databases, and internet searches.
  • Excellent research, problem-solving, and analytical skills, including ability to analyze and interpret business and financial data and information.
