WakeMed is seeking a skilled Ambulatory Care Nurse Infusion to provide exceptional patient care through the administration and monitoring of infusion therapy services in our infusion suite.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families, collaborating with practice management and the Clinical Supervisor to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies.
- Administer and monitor infusion therapy services, adhering to hospital and WakeMed Physician Practices policies and procedures, standards of care, standing orders, and evidence-based guidelines.
- Support the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices, understanding the needs of the organization and promoting a culture of excellence.
- 3 years of experience in nursing, with 3 years of clinical infusion therapy experience preferred.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Graduate nursing degree required, with a Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure required, with Certified Registered Nurse Intravenous and Oncology Certified Nurse certifications preferred.
(3) 8-hour shifts per week, 8am-4:30pm, with no weekend requirements or call duties.
