We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist Assistant to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for obtaining blood samples, transporting samples for medical testing, and processing specimens according to protocol and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform venipunctures professionally and with skill at various sites and explain the procedure to patients
- Ensure draws are collected in a timely manner and check all workload pending lists periodically for specimen accountability
- Accurately label patient samples following hospital policy
- Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification (MA-P) or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
