Position Overview: The Critical Care Nurse is responsible for the independent planning, execution, and assessment of nursing care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role involves delivering direct patient care, taking on educational and leadership roles, and engaging in collaborative decision-making and quality enhancement initiatives with minimal oversight.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in critical care nursing
- Current RN or APRN licensure in Florida
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications required
For New Graduates: Newly graduated nurses will have the opportunity to participate in a fellowship program aimed at obtaining ALS certification, with a commitment to remain in the Critical Care setting for a duration of 2 years following their training.
