Tire Technician Part-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle sizes
- Properly install and repair tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing
- Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area, merchandising tire displays and automotive products
- Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk, coordinating with Home Office as needed
- Ensure accurate and complete supply inventory, understanding and utilizing available special-order tire programs
- Comply with safety and cleanliness standards, properly utilizing tire bay equipment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles required
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills required
- Prior tire installation experience preferred
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance
