Job Overview

TeeShirtPalace is seeking a skilled Production Worker to join our in-house production line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our printing and fulfillment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Printing Operations:
    • Operate state-of-the-art printing equipment, including digital printers, copiers, and finishing machines.
    • Monitor print jobs to ensure quality and consistency.
    • Troubleshoot minor technical issues with printing equipment.
    • Maintain adequate stock of printing supplies and request replenishment as needed.
    • Follow printing schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.
  • Packaging and Shipping:
    • Prepare printed materials for packaging according to specific requirements.
    • Package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
    • Generate shipping labels and arrange shipments with courier services.
    • Ensure accuracy in addressing and labeling of packages.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area.
  • Receiving and Inventory Management:
    • Receive incoming shipments of printing materials, supplies, and products.
    • Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders.
    • Unload and organize incoming inventory in designated storage areas.
    • Update inventory records in the system to reflect received items.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect printed materials for defects or errors before packaging.
    • Follow quality control procedures to ensure finished products meet established standards.
    • Report any issues with print quality or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
    • Comply with company policies and regulations regarding printing, shipping, and handling of materials.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in printing, shipping/receiving, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with printing equipment and basic printing processes.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) safely.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require standing for 8 hours a day and if needed more for overtime pay.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with occasional overtime.

TeeShirtPalace has experienced rapid growth in the past year and is looking to expand our in-house production line. With state-of-the-art printing equipment, this is a fully automated and easy-to-learn process. We produce all our printed apparel in our production facility in Michigan, with 25,000 SF of space.
