MOOYAH is a unique restaurant concept that combines high-quality food with a fun and playful atmosphere. We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager, responsible for ensuring the restaurant operates at the highest level of standards and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the restaurant is operating efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, including labor management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff, providing coaching and training to ensure they meet MOOYAH's high standards.
  • Manage restaurant operations, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the training and operations department to ensure all team members are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Respond to customer complaints and issues, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Develop and execute hospitality initiatives to drive customer loyalty and retention.
  • Support local store advertising, fundraising, and catering sales initiatives.
  • Ensure the execution of all marketing initiatives and support the MOOYAH culture by motivating and coaching team members.
Requirements
  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years working in a restaurant environment, with career progression and verifiable results.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and back of house restaurant systems.
  • Ability to speak, write, and comprehend English in a business setting.
  • Capable of adapting to business needs and solving problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to understand Profit & Loss statements, costs controls, and restaurant operations.
