Lief Labs, a leading manufacturer of dietary supplements, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations in their assigned department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead safety initiatives and ensure a safe working environment throughout the maintenance department and the organization.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans, aligning teams' goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet the plan.
  • Mentor and develop associates to ensure the team's KPIs are met in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
  • Lead cross-training programs to build flexibility and the skills necessary to achieve department goals and KPIs.
  • Participate in root cause problem-solving activities to drive sustained improvement.
  • Conduct robust quality CAPA investigations when quality standards and expectations are not met.
  • Coach and develop teams on continuous improvement, kaizen, and autonomous maintenance projects.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues that prevent the department from achieving goals.
  • Support change management communication plans for major organizational and process changes.
Supervisory Responsibilities

In accordance with applicable policies and procedures, the Maintenance Supervisor may perform the following supervisory responsibilities:

  • Interviewing, hiring, orienting, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Appraising, managing, and rewarding performance.
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in maintenance management.
  • Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement certification and/or experience preferred.
  • cGMPs in a regulated environment.
  • OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • Proficiency in CMMS and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting with the ability to mentor and develop team members.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position at Lief Labs is $77,000.00-$84,000.00 USD. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, skills, and education.
