Position Overview:

As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Cardiac Monitor Technician plays a crucial role in delivering patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position is responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms and identifying any dysrhythmias, ensuring continuous observation of telemetry monitors for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide nursing assistance and support to patients as directed by the supervising Registered Nurse.
2. Continuously observe and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly reporting any abnormalities.
3. Execute basic clinical tasks as assigned to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

- Must hold a current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.

Work Schedule:

This position typically involves a 12-hour shift during daytime hours, specifically from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM.
