Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality psychiatric care to adult, adolescent, and child patients. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial psychological assessments and provide consistent individual counseling focused on treatment goals during hospitalization.
- Collaborate with other unit staff to assess and evaluate patient mental status, initiate and maintain therapeutic relationships, and coordinate treatment plans.
- Provide supportive care to patients, including participating in conversation, recreational activities, and basic living activities.
- Record all appropriate information on patient charts and prepare regular reports describing each patient's mental status and functioning.
- Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
- BLS required.
