About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Specialist to join our team at Inspira Health. As a key member of our healthcare IT team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining interface solutions that enable seamless data exchange between various healthcare systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy interface solutions using HL7 standards and protocols, such as FHIR, CDA, CCD, and EDI.
  • Design and implement interface architectures, data mappings, transformations, validations, and error handling mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, analysts, developers, and testers to gather and document interface requirements, specifications, and test cases.
  • Prepare and maintain interface documentation, such as design documents, user manuals, and technical reports.
  • Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize interface engines.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to the interface development team and mentor junior developers.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and best practices for interface development and data exchange.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support and act as the gatekeeper for triage of tickets, including in-depth notes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in interface development and data integration for healthcare systems and applications.
  • Experience in managing IS-related projects.
  • Expert knowledge of HL7 standards and protocols, such as FHIR, CDA, CCD, and EDI; Certification in HL7 or interface development preferred.
  • Proficient in interface development tools and languages, such as Java, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SQL, and XSLT.
  • Experience with interface engines, specifically Oracle OPEN Link.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data models, workflows, and terminologies, such as SNOMED, LOINC, ICD, and CPT.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications.
