Certified Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Rapides Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform respiratory care procedures, including airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, as needed.
- Assess patient respiratory status and develop effective care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
- Participate in continuing education activities to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- State Certified Respiratory Therapist license.
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR for Healthcare Providers, certification within 30 days of employment.
