Regional Operations Manager

The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing one or more functional areas within a region, including Line, Gas, Meter, Substation, and Field Customer Service. This role will provide leadership and direction to achieve goals and implement change, with a focus on safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, cost-effective resource allocation, staff selection and development, process improvement and oversight, major project management, and daily field operations activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement annual business plans, including O&M and Capital budgets, and monitor ongoing progress to ensure goal achievement.
- Oversee and evaluate work processes, identifying and implementing process improvements, and creating a climate of innovation within the organization.
- May be responsible for Senior Management budget analysis, KPI and mandated inspection reporting.
- Select, train, and develop personnel, guiding and appraising the work of subordinates, and rewarding and disciplining as appropriate.
- Coordinate key contract bids and awards with Procurement, researching and resolving invoice processing and payments with Finance and Procurement, and ensuring compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, and safe work procedures.
- Oversee, support, and participate in service restoration process during electric and gas emergencies, coordinating cross-functional problem solving.
- Resolve employee relations, labor relations, and customer relations issues, with a strong emphasis on developing and nurturing long-term constructive relationships with peers, subordinates, and union leadership.

Bachelor's degree with 7 years relevant experience required.
