Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Warehouse Specialist. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities including the receipt and processing of incoming inventory and materials, selecting and fulfilling orders from stock, packaging and dispatching shipments, as well as managing, organizing, and retrieving inventory.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and monitor incoming shipments
  • Load merchandise onto delivery vehicles using the appropriate equipment
  • Handle fragile items with care
  • Document and track shipment arrival and departure times accurately
  • Label and tag inventory
  • Organize and stock items based on size, shape, and type
  • Prepare items for shipment in accordance with established procedures
  • Record and manage any damaged or impaired merchandise
  • Utilize appropriate inventory management tools (e.g., forklift)

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Forklift Operation Certification is a plus (training available)
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse setting
  • Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proactive problem-solving skills

Job Summary:
The Logistics Warehouse Specialist position involves verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments while preparing items for dispatch to meet quality and productivity standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to move materials to designated areas.
  • Unpack, inspect, and route incoming shipments, addressing any damaged items and recording shortages.
  • Maintain an inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Perform necessary computer functions to track various aspects of goods.
  • Support the shipment of both produced goods and received supplies.
  • Coordinate pick-up arrangements with carriers as specified on purchase orders.
  • Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
  • Ensure a sufficient supply of shipping materials is always available.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety regulations.

Physical Demands:

Position Type:
This is a full-time role with standard working hours.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write in English, follow verbal instructions, and perform basic math
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Forklift operation experience is preferred but not mandatory
