Job Title: Welder - Barge Repair and Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

Ingram Barge is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Columbus, KY. As a Welder, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet of barges. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a team that is committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding and cutting of metal components
  • Operating forklifts and hydraulic cranes
  • Inspecting and pumping barges
  • Route dock clean up and other duties as requested

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety protocols
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds or more
