Key Responsibilities:

  • Unmasking: Skillfully remove protective materials from finished parts.
  • Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of unmasked areas to identify any defects.
  • Touch-Up Painting: Apply corrective paint to address minor imperfections, ensuring color accuracy.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify that all products comply with established quality standards and document inspection findings.
  • Sorting Parts: Organize and categorize parts as per specifications for efficient processing.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise records of inspections and any necessary rework.
  • Packaging: Ensure that all parts are securely packaged for distribution, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with inventory management and maintain a tidy workspace.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Background in metal finishing or manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
    • Communication: Effective communication skills for reporting and teamwork.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address issues proactively.
    • Technical Skills: Basic math and computer proficiency, along with the ability to operate specialized tools.
    • Physical Requirements: Capability to stand for extended periods and interpret technical documents.

Work Schedule:

  • Summer Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 3:30pm, Friday 6:30am - 12:30pm
  • Regular Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Wage: Starting at $17.50 per hour, with a review after 90 days for potential increase based on experience.
