Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and motivated Senior Accounting Specialist to enhance our financial operations. This role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity and compliance within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Accounting Specialist will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

1. Preparing monthly financial reports with accuracy and timeliness.
2. Managing month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entry preparation and posting.
3. Conducting reconciliations for various accounts, including bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
4. Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
5. Analyzing financial reports for inconsistencies and presenting findings to management.
6. Reviewing and refining the company's financial policies and procedures.
7. Supporting audit preparation and liaising with auditors.
8. Establishing and upholding internal financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks or SAP is advantageous.
5. High attention to detail and precision.
6. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Capability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
