Job Summary

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist I, PRN to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures to detect pathology, working in conjunction with department associates and medical staff to improve patient and workflow.
  • Support the mission and vision of Cleveland Clinic, demonstrating knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment, and policies necessary for job performance.
  • Operate equipment safely and maintain standards while performing all types of procedures, establishing and maintaining a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives, prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and communicating effectively both verbally and written.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT.
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) registered.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) needs to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Work Environment

The MRI Technologist I, PRN will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple assignments/projects and responding to numerous requests while working collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team. The ability to ensure operational efficiency, problem solve, and make decisions is essential. The work environment requires sitting at a workstation or desk, standing, and occasional pushing and/or pulling, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
