Job Title: MRI Technologist I, PRN

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist I, PRN to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures to detect pathology and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives.
  • Assist others in meeting department responsibilities and goals.
  • Perform in accordance with Corporate Compliance policy and adhere to its terms and conditions.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative and proactive approach in communication skills, problem-solving skills, and resolving conflicts as needed.
  • Maintain and promote strong relations with other departments.
  • Perform routine imaging procedures according to the policy/protocol manual and written orders.
  • Perform emergent procedures according to the policy/protocol manual and written orders.
  • Perform invasive procedures according to the policy/protocol manual and Radiologist's supervision.
  • Perform all special procedures according to the policy/protocol manual.
  • Always document in chart upon completion of procedures.
  • Always abide by all regulations that apply to state and national standards.
  • Maintain adequate supplies in the work area with items necessary to perform the daily schedule.
  • Always advise a supervisor of any items needed from materials management or vendor.
  • Submit ideas for quality or performance improvement for department.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT.
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) registered.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) needs to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Work Environment:

The MRI Technologist I, PRN will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple assignments/projects and responding to numerous requests. The ability to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, ensure operational efficiency, problem-solve, and make decisions is essential. The work environment requires minimal sustained direction, self-starting, and self-motivating. The work may exceed eight (8) hours per day and is based on what is needed to accomplish.

The MRI Technologist I, PRN will be required to sit at a workstation or desk, stand, and occasionally push and/or pull, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs. The work requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at a moderate skill level.
