About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Weifield Group Contracting. As a key member of our electrical construction team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring apprentices, working on a wide range of projects, and maintaining a focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Mentor Apprentices: Train and develop the skills of our apprentices to ensure they become the best in the business.
  • Work on Diverse Projects: Collaborate with our team to deliver electrical solutions on various projects, including data centers, water processing plants, casinos, residential and commercial high rises, and pharmaceutical plants.
  • Maintain Safety and Quality: Ensure a constant focus on safety and quality, using the best equipment in the industry to lay out and organize tasks, determine pipe fill, device and panel size, plan and handle materials, and more.
  • Embody Company Values: Demonstrate and promote our company values, PACT: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships.
Requirements
  • Current Texas State Electrical Journeyman License
  • Minimum 4 Years of Field Experience or Completion of a 4-Year Electrical Apprentice Program
  • Excellent Understanding of the Electrical Industry
  • Leadership and Teamwork Skills
  • Curiosity and Motivation for Continuous Education and Development
  • Willingness to Travel to Various Job Sites within a 50-Mile Radius
