About the Job:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of produce merchandise, including quality, taste, preparation method, and seasonality.
  • Preparing and packaging products according to established standards.
  • Ensuring product safety and following company sanitation guidelines.
  • Utilizing digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
  • Driving the performance of the area by utilizing digital tools and perpetual inventory management techniques.
  • Guiding peers and providing attention to customer needs.

Requirements:

  • A passion for produce and excellent customer service skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move freely throughout the store.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
