Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the retail, commercial, and agricultural banking operations to achieve strategic growth objectives.
  • Manage budget planning, loan expansion, and deposit increases.
  • Engage actively in the local community to foster business relationships and uphold the bank's reputation as a responsible corporate citizen.
  • Lead and mentor staff to help them achieve their professional goals.
  • Supervise the lending operations, ensuring robust commercial, agricultural, and consumer loan portfolios.
  • Assist bankers in achieving sustainable loan portfolio growth while identifying potential loan quality issues.
  • Administer a diverse loan portfolio, including large and complex loans, in accordance with established policies.
  • Prepare and present credit-related information to the Board of Directors.
  • Ensure the quality of credit and collection processes within the region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a finance-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in banking, particularly in lending, loan review, or compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements and banking regulations.
  • Familiarity with credit policies and standards; additional certifications in lending are advantageous.
