Your Responsibilities
As a key player, you will engage with personnel across various departments to effectively manage initiatives aimed at process enhancement. Your role will involve:

  • Creating, modifying, and maintaining software for CNC machinery.
  • Analyzing and defining production timelines, including process, cycle, and takt times.
  • Developing and refining process flows, work instructions, control plans, and job routings.
  • Identifying equipment and tooling requirements to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and processes relevant to our operations.

Process Management
You will direct, develop, and uphold processes, specifications, procedures, and equipment requirements to meet customer expectations and adhere to quality standards. Your expertise will help introduce and manage process improvement methodologies, including Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.

Continuous Improvement
Maintain and enhance floor-level work instructions to drive process improvements, focusing on:

  • Boosting line performance and quality throughput.
  • Reducing changeover times and equipment downtime.
  • Minimizing scrap and enhancing the overall approach to preventative and predictive maintenance.

Technical Oversight
In addition, you will troubleshoot and implement technical inputs for incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions. Collaborating with external suppliers on equipment, process, and material enhancements will also be part of your responsibilities.

Project Management
Act as a project manager for cross-functional teams focused on process and product improvement initiatives. The scope of your role may evolve based on business needs.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Process Engineering within a machine or fabrication environment.
