Broadcom IC Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital IC Design Engineer to join our Data Center Solutions Group at Broadcom Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze high-level architecture specifications and develop interactive authoring and review processes.
  • Generate electronic design specifications, including micro-architecture development.
  • Implement high-quality, high-performance Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL code from design specifications, incorporating features such as asynchronous clock domain crossings, multiple power domains, low-power design, and third-party IP integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Verification, Firmware, and Systems Engineering, to deliver detailed testing strategies and usage models.
  • Document RTL code and verification environments to reflect functionality.
  • Design logic related to NVMe and PCIe specifications, as well as general datapath function coding.
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 12+ years of related experience or MSEE degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 10+ years of related experience.
  • Digital design product development experience.
  • Expertise with tools and methodologies used in digital design and verification.
  • Proven teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with NVMe and PCIe is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:

Broadcom offers a competitive annual base salary range of $141,000 - $225,000, a discretionary annual bonus, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(K) participation, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company-paid holidays, paid sick leave, and vacation time.
