Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders in a school district in Massachusetts.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a caseload that will be discussed during the interview. The successful candidate will work on-site during the 2023-2024 school year and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
  • Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress

Requirements

  • A valid Vermont State SLP License is required, and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent is also required
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
