Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including crushing plants and rolling stock.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all quarry equipment and tools.
  • Repair defects and report corrective action to management staff.
  • Use welding and cutting torches as needed for fabrication.
  • Review and suggest modifications to work methods to increase efficiency.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and standards of quality and safety.

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of assigned tools and equipment.
  • Respond to after-hour emergencies as required.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience with maintenance of heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of the organization's operations, services, and policies.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Good welding and use of cutting torch skills.
  • Good motor skills.
Education and Experience
  • Completion of high school/GED.
  • Related experience required: 4 years.
Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations
  • MSHA Miner Training, Valid State Driver's License.
