Job Title: Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse
Job Description:
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, check vital signs, and alert doctors of any major changes in patients' conditions.
- Act as a liaison between doctors and patients, looking out for patients' welfare and relaying important information to patients' families and friends.
- Ensure daily care for patients, ensuring each patient recovers comfortably.
- Administer care for patients following open-heart surgery.
- Treat and care for heart transplant patients.
- Educate patients' families on ongoing needs and care of patients.
Requirements:
- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cardiovascular ICU setting
