Job Description:
As a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse at Albany Medical Center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with complex needs. Your duties will include handling high-acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring, competency in using ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, and ECG, monitoring temporary pacemakers and managing vasoactive and inotropic drip, and performing competency tests within 48 hours of application submission. You will also be responsible for efficiently working with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring intensive care and providing care for patients with complex needs and support recovery processes.
