Job Summary

As an Assistant Manager II with Compass Group Careers, you will play a key role in the overall management of food service operations in a small to medium volume location. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with managing food service operations in accordance with the approved budget, while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with managing food service operations, ensuring that all corporate and brand standards are met.
  • Maximize profitability and guest satisfaction, while ensuring the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure the food offered to clients, customers, and associates is of superior quality.
  • Assist with purchasing and inventory management.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with associates, guests, and clients, as well as other departments within the operation.
Requirements
  • 2 years of food service supervisory experience.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, and/or related food service operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and financial management.
  • Business acumen skills and proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
