Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Rotate, face, and replenish merchandise to ensure highest quality standards are met and products are easily accessible to customers.
  • Check in product, put product away, and review invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain displays in the department and throughout the store to ensure a visually appealing and organized shopping environment.
  • Remove trash in a timely manner and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Understand and practice proper sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and healthy shopping environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and individual store guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Report to work when scheduled and on time to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Order product at supervisor's request to ensure adequate inventory levels and meet customer demand.
  • Assist with inventory as requested to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Build displays as needed to enhance the shopping experience and promote products.
  • Assist in other areas of the store as needed to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required to support the team and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions; deal with a few concrete variables.
  • Ability to do simple addition and subtraction; copying figures, counting and recording.
  • Possess the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies orally or in writing.
  • No education requirement.
  • Over six months up to one year of similar or related work experience.
Working Conditions

This position is occasionally exposed to dirt, cleaning solvents, and equipment movement hazards. There is exposure to temperature extremes and dampness. This is a fast-paced work environment with significant pressure.
