Job Summary:

The Finance Manager at McGrath Evanston Subaru will oversee all financial aspects of the dealership's operations, working closely with the sales team to secure financing for customers and manage accounting and financial reporting processes.

This is a full-time, commission-only position in the Auto industry, located in Skokie, Illinois. The Finance Manager will report directly to the General Manager.


Compensation & Benefits:

As a Finance Manager at McGrath Evanston Subaru, you will have the opportunity to earn a highly competitive annual compensation between $150,000 to $250,000, paid weekly.

This role offers a commission-based pay structure, providing an opportunity for unlimited earning potential. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401k plan with employer match.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with lending institutions to secure financing options for customers
  • Collaborate with the sales team to structure deals and secure financing for vehicle purchases
  • Review and verify customer credit applications and financial information
  • Communicate financing options and terms to customers in a clear and professional manner
  • Oversee the dealership's accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage and reconcile daily cash flow and deposit processes
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, providing recommendations for improving financial performance
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering and receipt of vehicles
  • Collaborate with other dealership departments to ensure effective and efficient operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in financing regulations and policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in automotive finance or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in securing financing for customers and maximizing profitability
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership software systems
