Controller Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Orchard Village team, the Controller will assist the EVP & CFO in overseeing and managing the financial affairs of the organization. This includes maintaining and applying knowledge of the relationship between financial functions and the achievement of personal outcomes for clients. The Controller will collect and interpret key financial data, analyze performance against budget, and prepare financial statements with supporting schedules for guidance to management. Additionally, the Controller will participate in the Board Finance Committee.

Controller Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit organization. The successful candidate will also have excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and financial/payroll software, as well as supervisory experience and working knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, and banking.
