Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure seamless communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records and documentation to track student progress and inform treatment decisions.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to goal setting and develop strategies to support student success.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication and language skills.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
