Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Los Angeles. As a vital member of our educational community, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, fostering their ability to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure seamless communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records and documentation to track student progress and inform treatment decisions.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to goal setting and develop strategies to support student success.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication and language skills.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
