About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in Irvine, California. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing electrical systems for water treatment and distribution projects. Your expertise will help us deliver sustainable solutions to ensure water is where it should be and available when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and engineering of multiple projects, including water treatment and distribution systems.
  • Apply electrical engineering knowledge and concepts to size, evaluate, select, and specify electrical systems for use on assigned projects.
  • Conduct field investigations, liaise with clients and/or contractors, prepare design calculations, and lead the development of construction packages.
  • Estimate construction costs, contribute to business development activities, and participate in project team settings.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers and designers.
  • Prepare and revise documentation, including plans, diagrams, and details, and lead project coordination meetings.
  • Participate in client project requirement meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimating, and develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
  • Lead the preparation and coordination of project specifications with construction documents, participate in constructability review, and conduct quality assurance and quality control frameworks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the water industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, means, and methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to lead one or more teams through all phases of project document production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or equivalent software.
